You would probably agree that coffee is one of the most popular hot drinks in the world. It was brought to Europe by Venetian merchants in the 17th century, when the first cafés opened in Italy.
Since then, coffee drinking has spread all over the world. It has become a popular way of socialising with friends and business partners alike.
It is no surprise that Luigi Lupi, the father of latte art, has been a guest and speaker at our fairs twice, as he comes from Italy. The best coffee flavours are only revealed when the coffee is brewed correctly. That's why Espresso and Latte Art Workshops are a regular feature of our fair – the best coffee is always made with expertise.

The world of coffee has continued to evolve during the Fairs of Tastes GASTexpo, and today we know about capsule coffee, eco-friendly alternative packaging and AI-assisted coffee production. It provides guidance on how to grow the best coffee and uses algorithms to select the beans. And when we want to drink coffee, we put it in a special coffee machine that adjusts the proportions and selects the optimum pressure for the best coffee.
