THE WORLD OF ICE CREAMS AND PASTRY

Ice cream in the middle of winter? Of course, why not! Where? At the GASTexpo & Ice Cream International Specialised Fairs of Tastes. Trends and innovations in the four main »ice cream« fields – raw materials and ingredients, equipment, services, and most importantly – people, will find their place at the Fairs. The ice cream will be accompanied with pastry, so that all four days of the Fairs of the Tastes will be sweet.
You will be greeted by a program of pastry and ice cream workshops with renowned chefs. We will bake cakes, glaze them, decorate them with different decorations and creams, learn how to make different sweet foods from one type of dough, and how to make ice creams – special and different. More than 20 flavours of freshly prepared ice cream will be available for tasting each day of the Fairs, because – why not?
The 10th International Championship of GELATO will also be held at the Fairs. This year’s 10th anniversary will be celebrated in a slightly different form of competition, with the preparation of GOURMET ICE CREAM. This time, any original taste of ice cream will also be rewarded. All confectioners or ice cream makers who have their own ice cream shop in Slovenia and abroad can apply. All contestants will have the opportunity to present their GOURMET ice cream at the Fairs, receive a sponsorship award, and a certificate of attendance.
The committee will taste the ice creams and give their evaluation, opinions, and comments. We are convinced that the participating contestants will amaze them with their creativity, innovation, and knowledge.

LA GANACHE CONFECTIONERY WORKSHOPS ARE WAITING FOR YOU

Do you wish to prepare desserts as the best French pastry chefs or simply worship chocolate as a real confectioner? Then come to our La Ganache workshops for some sweetness and joy. You will get to know the whole range of our sophisticated confectionery art and you can learn how to prepare delicious and elegant delicacies first-hand from the greatest masters.
Did you know that the name La Ganache has a tradition of more than 160 years – it is named after a delicious cream made of chocolate, sweet cream and butter, which was first prepared in 1850 in the iconic Parisian confectionery Sirau.
The master of French confectionery from the French school, Chef Naser Gashi, attracted visitors at the past Fairs. He is also the founder of the first French confectionery and bakery training in Slovenia, and through his work has contributed to the promotion of the culture of »confectionery« in our country.
